Joint Information Systems Committee

The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) is one of those organisations you may not have heard of, but whose work you have almost certainly come across. As they themselves put it, "JISC inspires UK colleges and universities in the innovative use of digital technologies, helping to maintain the UK’s position as a global leader in education." JISC's initiatives cover everything from archives and digitisation to accessibility, from environmental technology to eLearning. If it's to do with digital technology and education in the UK, you can bet JISC is behind the scenes supporting it.

Anyway, we're chuffed to bits to say we've been working with JISC to caption much of their video content and supply text transcripts. Our captions feature on both the JISC YouTube channel and the JISC site itself, which uses JW Player for video playback.
